As Second year students at The Swiss Hotel School, we are required to do Eco-Tourism as a subject.

The Eco-tourism curriculum consists of 50% Class time and 50% Excursion time. Over the past 2 years, students were given the opportunity to spend three days in the Pilanesberg Game reserve.

The three days consist of fun team building events, guided walks in the game reserve and a guided game drive on the last morning.

The Eco-tour is an excellent way for students to gain the knowledge needed in a more peaceful and realistic environment.
