My Swiss Hotel School Story.

My Name is Verousce Mckibbin, and I graduated from the Swiss Hotel School in 2006. This was really the launch of everything I would do in my career. The training I received was far above anything I could have hoped for and took me to places I would never have imagined.

The Swiss Hotel School was really the reason I pursued a career as a Pastry Chef which has spanned 10 years working in 5-star hotels around the world, including the Ritz Carlton. Later on, I was able to own and operate my own successful catering company which I sold after 4 years.

Whenever I have ever applied for jobs the fact that I received my training from the Swiss Hotel School, always made a huge impression.

Today I work for one of the largest food service & hospitality companies in the world, Compass USA. I am currently a Food Service Director for a large health insurance company. I manage their on-campus food service, where we have 2 caf├ęs, 3 Starbucks’ and a large conference centre.

I look back at my years at The Swiss Hotel School with so much appreciation and I am grateful to have received my education from a school that really prepared me for my career in hospitality.
